For me, songwriting has always been a private sanctuary rather than a public spectacle. Thirty years ago I wanted the music industry; it did not want me. I kept my songs sealed for decades, never releasing tracks intended for a 1999 & 2002 record. Only in the last ten years did I fully reconnect with what I had vaulted away so long ago. Now, in a new peace, as time has healed wounds, learning to love the songs again, adding new songwriting in 2014, I resurrected ABBALOO STUDIOS, in my Maryland home. After years of reworking the music, I spent almost all of 2025 re-recording my entire music catalogue, making demos of nearly 40 songs using the original masters. Getting older, my voice changing, and before getting too old, I learned to stabilise my voice using a lower key register with some of the songs; some I could not transpose. In spring 2026, I was fortunate to find Thomas Müller, a German synth-pop music creator on YouTube. I fell in love with his music and taking my biggest step yet; publicly reaching out on his open forum for everyone to see that post comment. I was so shocked when he replied. I sent over a song file (“Silent Partner”). Thomas, taking a chance on me; he offered to produce me... his first "real artist". Thomas is the “genius magician,” the “master of the scene” (a line from Swedish Pop Group AEIƎA), bringing my songs and my voice to life. Working across two continents, I sang a cappella for him, capturing my singing voice. With the assistance of AI computer technology, learning my voice, stabilising, optimising, to help with those higher registers with clarity—we now have great music. These are the very personal songs from an era of fast living, and with no shame, no regrets, I am ready to share them with you.
